GENERAL: Fitted out in mahogany to the traditional Hallberg-Rassy style. All joinery below finished with satin varnish. Teak and holy inlay on floor, with removable carpet throughout boat (Unused carpets also supplied). Deluxe upholstery, all renewed 2009 and curtains to all portlights and skylights. Beatrice C has nine berths in total, all with fitted lee-boards. The two additional berths in the saloon are fitted with lee-cloths.
SALOON: L-shaped sofa berth to starboard with large dropleaf table on the centreline, opening centre section for bottle storage. Storage behind backrests with pilot berth to port and starboard. Bookshelf and cupboards to port with Stereo, TV, brass reading lamps, clock, barometer, scatter cushions. Large fridge under galley work top
GALLEY: To starboard of companionway with double stainless steel sink, hot and cold pressurised water as well as manual pumped fresh. Gimballed 4 burner, and very large oven, Taylor cooker with burners, hot plate, grill and oven. Ready to use storage above and below work surfaces. Pots and pans stowage beneath cooker and drawers for cutlery. MicroCombi oven. Three food cooling units; Large fridge under galley work top, second smaller fridge on port side and good sized Freezer.
CHART TABLE: Storage for charts beneath table and in specially designed chart lockers. Seating with storage below. Navigation and communication instruments on panel in front of table. Switch panel and circuit breakers aft of seat, along with locker and hanging lockers. Opposite these lockers is access to engine room in the walk through to aft cabin. Cool unit behind navigators seat which can be used as a freezer.
AFT CABIN: One double berth to starboard with large berth to port for use as passage making berth. Hanging locker and bureau with drawers. Lockers port and starboard above berth. Storage beneath. 1 opening skylight and three opening portlights. Headroom 6'4" or 1.93 m.
AFT HEADS COMPARTMENT: Separate shower stall with teak grating. 2 opening portlights. Lockers above and below porcelain wash basin. Mirror. Lee electric vacuum toilet with stainless steel holding tank and optional fresh water intake.
FORECABIN: Two berths length 6'9" or 2.05m. Large sail locker beneath. Lockers above and below as well as hanging locker. Opening skylight and portlight.
STB FORE CABIN: Twin berth cabin stowage beneath lower berth. hanging lockers, 1
FORWARD HEADS COMPARTMENT: Lee electric vacuum toilet with holding tank and fresh water intake, separate shower stall, porcelain wash basin mirror and storage lockers above and below. Teak grating and opening skylight.
Rigging by SELDEN mast with RECKMANN hydraulic furling. Sloop rig with double spreaders on mast. Fore and after lowers, detachable inner forestay with running backstays. RECKMANN furling and reefing headstay system. All standing rigging renewed by a SELDEN agent in 2009.
Mast overhaul and oxidation treatment in 2003/2004. All fitting removed including standing, running rigging, cleats, winches, masthead fittings, hydraulics etc. Mast and boom resprayed with 3 prep coats and 2 coats AWLgrip finishes.
Spinnaker stows in front of mast.
