Hull, Deck and Internal Reinforcement

White gelcoat.
The hull produced by vacuum assisted infusion, with the
outer skin from Vinylester and remaining laminate in isopolyester.
Sandwich laminate made of 20 mm PVC core is used
through out the hull.
Reinforcement from a mix between woven and uni-directional
Solid laminate in the keel area as well as the laminate around
major through hull fittings.
White topcoat on the hull in all lockers, bilges and similar
exposed areas.
Striping with vinyl tape.
Coppercoat antifoul, additional treatment in 2019

The deck is produced by vacuum assisted infusion with integrated anti-slip surfaces.
Sandwich laminate between ortho polyester, tri-axial and uni-directional roving and a 15 mm PVC core in all horizontal surfaces.
Deck is glued and bolted to the hull.
White topcoat in all exposed areas.
Glove boxes in the cockpit with teak frames.

Internal reinforcement

Moulded hull stiffening and integrated innerliner grid. In 2016, after shipping across the Atlantic as deck cargo, movement was noted in the area around the keel stub internally.
As a precaution the owner decided to remove the the innerliner grid and replace with a grid type matrix without the 'tray type' sections between grid sections. This work is of great benefit to new owners giving peace of mind about a integral part of the yachts construction. Work completed by Nautors Swan, Benelux
Reinforcement from a tri-axial and uni-directional glass in tophat sections.
Forward and aft the grid is glued to the hull, while laminated to the hull in the keel area.

2.25 m draft with iron cast fin bolted to a lead bulb.
Keel is bolted with AISI 316L stainless steel bolts.

Rudder blade produced by vacuum assisted infusion.
Reinforcement from bi-axial and uni-directional roving.
Aluminium rudder stock and wings, which are glued to one half of the rudder before assembly.
