General
Characteristic of all Hallberg-Rassy boats is the flawless joinery in which every detail is a combination of utility and beauty. The Hallberg-Rassy 26 is fitted out in the traditional mahogany with a satin varnish finish, her large hull windows make the accommodation light and inviting.
The galley is well-equipped and includes a gas hob and grill, built in fridge, hand-operated fresh water pump and space for crockery. The fresh water tank contains 65 litres and the headroom in the galley is 6'.
The dropleaf table has 3 positions: full width in harbour, half width with rails at sea and completely folded when the bunks are in use.
The HR26 has four berths, each at least 2 metres long and 70 centimetres wide at shoulder height.
The toilet space has been ergonomically designed. There is plenty of stowage and a separate wardrobe.

Comments
The Hallberg-Rassy 26 was built between 1978 - 1985. A total of 469 hulls were built. MISS S is Hull No. 424 delivered in 1982
In 1978 the Hallberg-Rassy 26 received the honourable "Golden Steering Wheel" award in the Swedish yachting magazine Båtnytt. We quote:
"The Golden Steering wheel goes to Hallberg-Rassy - for the capability to achieve wonderful quality at a reasonable price in their new HR 26. This award goes to the executive of the yard, Christoph Rassy, and the designer Olle Enderlein for their determination to create a boat dedicated to family use. Our opinion is that this boat is built to an exceptional standard, the living space on board is well used with for example four full length berths, a good kitchen and much more."
