Overview

KATYA is a beautiful Germán Frers designed Hallberg-Rassy 34 built in 2001. She is for sale by her second owner who has used her to sail both sides of the English Channel and last year a fantastic trip down the Atlantic coast of Portugal. The owner of KATYA is thoroughly hooked on long distance cruising and is upgrading to a larger vessel to take their adventures further.
KATYA has in-mast furling, new main sail in 2022, and wheel steering, new Raymaine Evo autopilot 2022 also. Her careful owners have clearly kept her well with many modern upgrades throughout.
KATYA's new owners can expect surprising performance for her size and a comfortable interior that provides usable space and safety at sea.
KATYA is a Part 1 British Registered yacht, taxes paid in the UK.

Press

Quote from the Swedish yachting magazine Båtnytt:

"The carpentry is excellent with well-made laminated wood edgings and counters, fine doors and louvered cupboard fronts. Also the choice of material - light, smooth mahogany - scores points. The engine installation has good air intake and is well sound insulated. The manoeuvring ability is excellent, as well as the sailing qualities. Hallberg-Rassy 34 has the touch of a racing boat, heels, speeds up with a comfortable weather helm and has a good response on trimming. A splendid boat for modern cruising sailors."
