This particular example has been optimised for off grid cruising with the addition of solar and wind generator. The engine also has an additional alternator for fast charging. Her careful owners have improved her in innumerable ways to make her safer and more practical at sea. Some additions were added at build such as the sliding doors above the cooker, taken from the 42 design at the time.

Accommodation

All interior woodwork in light mahogany matt silk finish. Floor is varnished teak with inlaid holly stripes. Saloon ceiling has panelling with mahogany stripes and ceilings in remainder of boat have light lining. Marine Blue Dynamica upholstery throughout. Berths 12 cm thick and resting on unvarnished, well-ventilated boards to avoid condensation. Hand holds in saloon. Beige carpets throughout, New 2024, except directly in front of the galley, press studs avoid movement. Portholes and skylights are fitted with cream curtains. Push-in mosquito nets for skylights in saloon, aft cabin and fwd cabin. All bunks fitted with lee-cloths, six in total. All interior lighting converted to LED.
 
Saloon
 
 A solid mahogany mast support is fitted next to the main bulkhead.  The settee offers comfortable seating. On the starboard side the backrest can be lifted to enable total width to be used for sleeping accommodation. On port side is a settee with folding sections so that the space behind can be utilised. Curved corner. Lee cloths to both settees.  Between the settees a strong, attractive folding table with bottle stowage incentre. Headroom in the saloon 1.98 m. Clock and Barometer on main bulkhead. 19" 12v Avtexc TV mounted on movable arm, stows in locker. Additional roving 12v fan which can be located anywhere inside.
 
Galley
 
 Large sea galley with good headroom. Working surface in white laminate with strong all around fiddle rail. Carefully insulated icebox with Isotherm 'keel cool' through hull,. Extra deep, double sink. ENO oven and grill, well gimballed with fiddle rails and locking device for oven door and also for cooker when in use at the marina, New 2019. 220v Electrolux Microwave oven. Opening window over the cooker. Safety switch on gas pipe. Sliding door access to stowage areas behind cooker. Crockery locker and cutlery drawer. Bread board. Room for saucepans and other kitchen utensils. There are special places for the waste bin and other items below sinks and work service return.
 
Toilet compartment

Access to the toilet compartment is freely available from any part of the boat without disturbing anybody. Bulkheads and lockers in white laminate. Watertight shower stall, teak grating, china wash basin and large mirror. Towel rail and toilet roll holder. Shower curtain. Mixer tap in wash basin is pulled out for shower use. Shower water drained by pump directly overboard. Pump can be diverted to act as bilge pump also. Hand switch shower pump for utmost safety. Manual toilet. 40l Holding tank, new valves 2025. Cupboard above and below washbasin. Ventilation through ventilator, opening porthole and hatch. Headroom 1.88 m 
 
Forward cabin

The door to the forward cabin has been arranged in such a way to allow free movement for dressing and undressing. Two berths with ample stowage above and below and in addition a number of lockers. A hatch and opening porthole. Headroom 1.87 m. One 12v fan over berth.
 Directly aft of forward cabin is a convenient seating area with large hanging locker behind set. Additional towel rail opposite heads door
 

 
 Chart table and walkthrough

 
 A comfortable chart table seat with spacious chart table. Deep freezer with Isotherm 'keel cool' through hull, behind chart table seat. Above a 400mm  bookshelf and space for mounting instruments. Outboard is the 12v distribution panel. Five drawers and stowage slots. Binocular rack. There is a larger rubber sealed 2-door access to the engine room off the walk through. On the port side there is a wet locker and various cupboards. Also the instrument panel is located in a protected but visible position.
 
Aft cabin
 

 Aft cabin has two hanging lockers to port and two comfortable berths, one 2.15 m long and 1.10 m wide and the other 2.15 m long and 0.78 m wide. Lee cloths. Cup holders between berths.  Stowage room below and above. Seat between berths. 12v fans above both berths. There is a mirror fitted to the biggest bulkhead. Headroom in hatch area 1.84 m. 12v USB outlet between berths.
