Overview

The Hallberg-Rassy 44 is the first of a new generation of fast, comfortable cruising yachts from the renowned Swedish boat builder. German Frers has optimised the waterline with the plumb bow and upright transom giving excellent passage making times. The fixed bowsprit gives the stemhead clearance for anchoring and the perfect tack for an asymmetric and the lowering platform from the transom gives great bathing access and a dinghy dock.

The beam is carried further aft improving performance with the wind aft of the beam and the twin rudders give finger-tip control on the helm at all points of sail. The new hull form also benefits the interior layout giving space for a safe and comfortable galley in the walk-through to the aft of the yacht and a bright and airy aft cabin.

TAM LIN is a particularly good example of a Hallberg-Rassy 44 her European Oak interior and lighter upholstery give her a feeling of space in all areas of the accommodation. TAM LIN was supplied by us from new she is still in her original ownership with an experienced and practical owner who specified her for a circumnavigation, completed in 2025. The passages were crewed with just husband and wife with occasional guests.

TAM LIN is set up for long-distance short-handed passage making and maintained superbly throughout her circumnavigation. She has been rerigged and some new sails in recent times and ready for her next adventure, so don't hesitate to make an appointment to view with Transworld Yachts at Hamble Point Marina.
